How is Chem-Dry different from steam cleaning?
Chem-Dry uses Hot Carbonating Extraction, which uses about 80% less water than typical steam cleaning. A carbonated solution lifts soil out of the fibre, so carpets are usually walkable again in around 1–2 hours instead of staying damp for much longer.
How long before I can walk on my carpet?
Most carpets are ready to walk on again within roughly 1–2 hours. Thick pile, poor airflow and humid Gold Coast days can add time, and we’ll tell you what to expect for your home.
How do I book, and what does it cost?
Call 1300 230 634, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Tell us the rooms or furniture, any pets and any problem spots, and we’ll quote over the phone. Price depends on the job, so we don’t publish a “from” price that may not fit your home. There is no online form. A phone call is the quickest way.
Which areas do you cover?
We service the Gold Coast, Queensland. We don’t have a shopfront or public street address. We come to you. Call 1300 230 634 with your street or suburb and we’ll confirm we can get to you.
Can you get rid of pet urine smells that keep coming back?
Often, yes. The smell usually returns because urine residue stays in the carpet backing and underlay, and humid weather wakes it up. P.U.R.T.® (Pet Urine Removal Treatment) is Chem-Dry’s treatment for that residue. Call 1300 230 634 and tell us how many spots there are.
Is Chem-Dry eco-certified?
Chem-Dry’s main cleaner, The Natural®, carries EPA Safer Choice and ECOLOGO certifications. It has been independently assessed, and it is made for homes with kids and pets when used as directed.
Is it safe around children and pets?
Chem-Dry is designed for lived-in homes, with a certified main cleaner and far less leftover moisture than steam cleaning. We’ll tell you when it is fine to let kids and pets back onto the floor. If someone has allergies or asthma, mention it when you call.
What services do you offer?
Carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, rug cleaning, mattress cleaning, leather furniture cleaning, stain removal and P.U.R.T.® pet urine removal, all across the Gold Coast.
What are your opening hours?
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm. Closed Saturday and Sunday. If you call outside those hours, try again the next working day.
Do you have a shopfront I can visit?
No. Chem-Dry by Arthur is a Gold Coast service-area business with no public street address. We come to your home, so there is nothing to visit. Call 1300 230 634 to book.
